Hiring & onboarding

Pre-Employment Drug Testing — DOT & Non-DOT

Start your hiring process with a clear testing plan. We coordinate convenient pre-employment testing for transportation employers and other workplaces, with mobile collection arrangements where available.

DOT Pre-Employment Testing

For FMCSA-covered drivers, a verified negative DOT drug test is generally required before the driver first performs safety-sensitive functions, subject to regulatory exceptions. We coordinate DOT collection workflows and laboratory/MRO handoffs as applicable.

Non-DOT Pre-Employment Testing

Employer-directed screening options tailored to your company's hiring policy and applicable law, with collection scheduling designed to reduce onboarding delays.

Mobile Scheduling

Convenient collection coordination for employers who want to minimize travel, simplify scheduling and get new hires moving.

Compliance support

Why employers choose Swaying Palm Compliance

Meeting DOT and FMCSA obligations takes more than ordering a drug test. Employers need reliable coordination, clear documentation and an understanding of their own regulatory responsibilities.

DOT Part 40 & FMCSA Part 382

We support the coordination of drug and alcohol testing workflows for covered employers, including pre-employment, random and post-accident testing where applicable. Testing must be performed by appropriately qualified personnel and service providers.

FMCSA Clearinghouse Guidance

FMCSA-covered employers must conduct required Clearinghouse queries, including a pre-employment full query before permitting a covered driver to perform safety-sensitive work and required annual queries. We can help you plan these steps; the employer or its properly designated C/TPA remains responsible for authorized queries and reporting.

Organized Employer Support

Our secure Employer Portal provides visibility into company rosters and testing pools, helping you keep program information in one place while Swaying Palm administrators manage records.

Expedite Your Onboarding

Reduce delays between a conditional job offer and a new hire’s first day. Our streamlined scheduling and testing coordination help you move candidates through pre-employment screening more efficiently, while meeting applicable DOT and FMCSA requirements.

Cut Out the Middleman

Work directly with Swaying Palm Compliance to arrange testing and get clear updates, rather than juggling multiple contacts. One point of coordination can simplify communication, scheduling and follow-through.

Important: Swaying Palm Compliance provides testing coordination and program support; using a service provider does not transfer an employer's legal DOT/FMCSA compliance responsibilities. Clearinghouse access and reporting are subject to applicable FMCSA authorization and requirements.
